Yoko has over ten years’ experience in the media industry having worked with production houses, radio stations and publishers. Radio stations she’s worked with include Q FMRadio Phoenix and most recently 96.5 Rock FM as an on air radio presenter.

Leelee Ngwenya (Rock FM)

20140507_074554Leelee Ngwenya or DJ Lee has been on radio since September last year working at Rock FM. Co-hosts a mid-morning radio show called Rock The City weekdays from 9-12, this is her first time on radio. She trained in Cape Town to be a live performer, studying music, acting and scriptwriting at a AFDA film school. Since graduating she has acted in South African films and TV series, produced documentaries for the United Nations. After moving back to Zambia 3 years ago she has worked as a producer for reality TV shows and an animated series.

Luciano Haambote (Radio Phoenix FM)selfie B&W

Luchi is radio presenter and station manager working at Radio Phoenix he hosts the Luchi and Roxy Breakfast Show Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 10:00 hrs.

ChiChinyota Msimuko (Hot FM)

The 30 year old Radio and TV presenter/Media entrepreneur, Chi, left his background of Law and banking to create Lusaka’s most listened to radio show, The Red Hot Breakfast on Hot 87.7. Chi has created a cult following with his entertaining and informative witty brand of broadcasting and has interviewed high profile guests including England football legend John Barnes as well as local political leaders and ambassadors such as the British High Commissioner James Thornton. He is also the founder of Yipyap Media .An audio production, concept development and copy writing company that has done work for clients such as MTN, Stanbic, Zambia Breweries, European Union and Toyota just to name a few. His accolades include being appointed a youth ambassador for the United States Embassy in Zambia as well as being the first recipient of the Media Institute of Southern Africa Honorary Award for courageous journalism, both for his contributions to Zambian radio.

Chilu Lemba (Voiceovers Artist | Independent radio Personality)7

Chilu Lemba is a Zambian born and South African based radio and television presenter, voice over artist and musician. He is widely acknowledged in the communications industry as one of Africa’s top Voiceover Artists having narrated numerous productions for radio, television and stadium events such as the African Cup of Nations opening Ceremony, broadcast to millions of viewers around the world. His voice is heard across the continent daily on ads ranging from Branding commercials for washing detergents and Cellphone networks, to Promos for satellite television channels.
