The SC Women in Tech incubation programme begins this Wednesday, 31st March. 10 female-led-business will undergo a 3-month incubation period where they will be helped on how to leverage technology to grow their business. Five selected businesses will receive further support through a 6-month acceleration programme. Meet the 10 women participating in the programme here.
Dufuna, in partnership with BongoHive Consult, brings you the BongoHive Consult Coding Academy. This is a 3-month online academy for Zambians who are looking to gain skills in Software Engineering, Product Management and Product Design. We closed off the first cohort of the Thrive Investor Readiness programme which we have been running in partnership with Prospero Zambia and Village Capital. In the closing ceremony, we took time to reflect, celebrate the entrepreneurs and provide them with the next steps. The entrepreneurs, as well as the mentors, also shared their experiences and the valuable lessons they got from the programme.
The DIGILOGIC project, is a network of Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) in the EU and Africa, focusing on smart logistics. With funding support from the European Commission (EC), the project will enable the growth of a common innovators’ ecosystem, where talents from both Europe and Africa will benefit from access to technology, knowledge and ultimately, market opportunities and investments.
