This week, the Embassy of Finland will host the Finnish Week of Business in Zambia from 26th to 28th April 2021. This year, specific focus will be given to the following sectors: Education. Sustainable Mining, Renewable Energy, Environment and Circular economy, ICT and Digitisation as well as Forestry and Agribusiness. The fifth episode of the BongoHive Podcast went live last Friday. In this episode, we interviewed Chabu Muchinshi (ACE Smart Zambia) and Gilbert Mwale (eMsika), who shared their experiences navigating the world of strategic partnerships and how those benefitted their businesses. Zeepay Acquires Zambia's Mangwee Mobile Money
Zeepay, the leading African Fintech with operation in over 10 African countries, has acquired a 51 percent stake in Mangwee Mobile Money Zambia. In a private placement, Zeepay and Mangwee agreed to sell off 51 percent of Mangwee shares to Zeepay. The deal makes Zeepay Ghana the majority shareholder of the entity.
