Hello!
We are getting more excited about our 10th anniversary! With only a few days left until our big day, we continue celebrating our partners, entrepreneurs and staff, who have helped us achieve our goals over the past 10 years.
Follow us using the hashtag #BHTurns10 on our social media platforms as we keep telling the BongoHive story.
We are halfway through the SC Women in Tech programme. We have spent the last few months conducting training sessions on key business elements, as well as mentoring the entrepreneurs. In just a few weeks, the 10 participating businesses will showcase how they will use technology to grow their businesses on a Demo Day which will be followed by an Awards Ceremony.
Applications for our giveaway, "What would 5K do for your business?" closed last week Friday. Thank you for sending in your business pitches, we are happy to know how you are helping the entrepreneurship ecosystem grow. The winner of the ZMK5000 and one-on-one business consultation will be announced on the 27th of May.
Episode 7 of the BongoHive Podcast was released last Friday. In this episode, we listen to Martha Mbewe of Ubuchi, who shares her business’s experience exporting honey out of Zambia. She also shares the challenges that businesses face while trading on the international market and the possible solutions. We also listen to ITC consultant, Ko Goma, who breaks down what businesses should consider when going international.
Before you run off to catch up on previous episodes of the BongoHive Podcast, we would appreciate your feedback and suggestions as we continue to work on future seasons of our podcast - it will take less than 5 minutes of your time - click through to share your feedback.
That is all from us this week. Have a great week, and stay safe. |
