We closed applications for the MTN MoMo Hackathon last week Friday at 23:59hrs, receiving over 100 applications to participate in the hackathon! We begin reviewing the applications this week and successful applicants will be notified by Friday, 27 November.
Today, we begin our last cohort of Discover for 2020. We adapted the programme to be able to deliver it online, amid the global pandemic, which also allowed us to deliver the programme to entrepreneurs outside Lusaka. The programme will run for 2 weeks.
This week, we host the Absa Future Traders programme, from Wednesday 25 to Friday 27 November. Our 15 finalists have been selected and will be announced today. We're looking forward to how our future traders will respond to the hackathon challenge.
Also this Wednesday, we will host an information session for the SC Women in Technology programme. More information and the link to join us is shared below. To register interest in participating in the programme, visit the SC WiT website.
We are still taking applications for the Thrive Investor Readiness programme, which we are working on in partnership with Prospero and Village Capital. The programme is designed for startups that are at growth stage (post-revenue) and are ready for investment opportunities. Applications are open until Friday, 11 December at 23:59hrs.
