Hello!

On Thursday last week, we celebrated our 10th anniversary under the theme “Celebrating a decade of impactful innovation and entrepreneurial growth.” Throughout the entire month of May, we took the time to tell the BongoHive story and celebrate our achievements over the past 10 years. We also celebrated and recognised our partners, staff and the entrepreneurs we have worked with over the past 10 years. Our partners shared their experiences working with us over the years, you can watch the videos on our YouTube channel. The 3 BongoHive founders also shared how BongoHive started, its growth, what the last decade has been like and plans for the future. Watch the founder’s video here

We would like to congratulate Kabwela Malupande of Kungula Africa for winning our ZMK5000 giveaway and one-on-one consultation with our Head of Entrepreneurship, Simunza Muyangana and our Startup Coach, Peter Nawa. As BongoHive, We remain committed to expanding our entrepreneurship support and positively contribute to the growth of the startup ecosystem.

This past Saturday, TEDx Lusaka held its annual event under the theme, Mizu wa Zinthu (the root of things). It was inspiring to hear from the speakers who shared their ideas and brought them to life. We are proud to continue partnering with TEDx Lusaka and sharing ideas worth spreading.

Episode 8 of the BongoHive Podcast is live! In this episode, we look at creating a green economy for Africa through the integration of sustainable business practices. Our guests walk us through the benefits of green integration to business owners and society, and how to make these practices cost-effective.

That is all from us this week. H
ave a great week, and stay safe.
