Demo Day for the SC Women in Tech Programme is slowly approaching. We have spent the last few months of the programme guiding the participants on how they can leverage technology to grow their businesses. The 10 participating businesses will now have the chance to showcase their tech solutions to a panel of judges and the top 5 businesses will each walk away with USD10,000. The participants have shared the impact of the programme on their businesses, look out for their stories on our social media pages.

United Capital Development Fund (UNCDF) will be launching the Regulatory Playbook for Zambian FinTechs, tomorrow at 10 AM CAT. The webinar, which will be hosted in collaboration with BongoHive will include a presentation on the Regulatory playbook as well as a discussion on key developments in regulating and developing Zambia’s FinTech industry. The panel discussion will include experts from the Bank Of Zambia, Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Zambia National Commercial Bank (ZANACO).
