Hello!

Happy International Day of the Girl Child! The day is celebrated to recognize girls’ rights and the unique challenges they face around the world. This year's theme ‘Digital Generation, Our Generation’ seeks to address the gender digital divide that exists, especially as the world continues to accelerate towards digital platforms. Like us, we hope that you're able to reflect on the gaps that exist for the girl child and how you can act on them.

Here’s an update on what we are up to this week:

Last Thursday, we were scheduled to host a webinar on Digital Transformation through our Consulting arm, BongoHive Consult. We ran into technical difficulties (the irony!) and had to postpone the event to this week. Please join us on Wednesday 13 October at 14:00hrs CAT as we discuss with business leaders who have led digital transformation in their businesses and be inspired.

This is the final week to apply for the Future Challenges Initiative! We want to co-create with university and college students about what the future of work looks like. To do so, we have listed Challenge Statements on the following topics: Cashless Consuming, Transparent e-Governance, Cashless Business, Digital Global Identity and Booming Digital Services. Learn more about building a solution to a statement of your interest by visiting the website. If you have questions JOIN OUR INFO SESSION TOMORROW at 14:00hrs CAT.

Are you ready to become Zambia's greatest software developer? Applications for the BongoHive Consult Coding Academy are still open. Apply before Thursday 14 October. Cost: ZMW350/month. Details below.

This week’s FREE Boost with Facebook sessions are all about creating Facebook ads and understanding insights to make better ads! More details are shared below.

Until next week!
Have a lovely one.
