It’s November! We hope you are as excited as we are to be entering this new month. We have so much to look forward to and cannot wait to share more in the upcoming weeks.

On Saturday 30th October, we were visited by the Minister of Science and Technology Honorable Felix Mutati, Permanent Secretary Kayula Siame, officials from the ministry and the National Technology Business Centre. This is the first-ever minister to visit The Hive, and we are eager to work with them to grow technology, innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in the country over the next few years. We've shared some photo highlights here.
On Thursday 27th October, we hosted the AICCRA Matchmaking Dialogue session with CGIAR and IMWI. That evening we attended the official launch of the AICCRA Zambia Accelerator Grant, which aims to fund small and medium Zambian agribusinesses that aim to scale climate information services and climate-smart agricultural solutions to Zambia Farmers and communities. Applications for the grant are now open -

Lastly, we also kicked off the Future Challenges Initiative with AGS Zambia and Demola. The co-creation initiative brings together 60 students from around the world, together with 15 Zambian and 2 Finnish SMEs looking to seize potential opportunities or address societal challenges.
