Applications for Cohort 2 of the Standard Chartered Women in Tech incubator programme are now live! We are accepting applications from female-led and founded Zambian businesses that are tech enabled or are looking to implement digital technology to their business product/solution. There are five (5) $10,000 grants to be awarded to the winning businesses. To learn more about the programme, visit the official website: scwomenintech.co.zm. MTN MoMo Hackathon is back! BongoHive in partnership with MTN Zambia and Comviva invite developers and entrepreneurs to apply to participate in the MoMo Hackathon. This Thursday 25 November, we host the demo day for the BongoHive FinTech Challenge, in partnership with FSD Zambia. The current cohort of the programme focused on solutions around Inclusive Insurance, and the 3 startups who will be pitching will be sharing their solutions that address financial inclusion gaps within the Insurance sector. The 3 startups that will be pitching are: Analytix Risk Consultants, Hobbiton Technologies and Mellow Fund. The two winning ideas will receive up to $28,000 to build their prototypes. The latest customer to sign up is the IT solutions expert, Corporate IT Solutions Zambia, which took advantage of the Paratus early bird special, taking rack space at the DC and reserving additional space. |
