Hello!

On Friday last week, we held the Pitch Event for the BongoHive Fintech Challenge. Three startups pitched their solutions on how to address the financial inclusion gaps within the insurance sector. Congratulations to Hobbiton Technologies and Mellow Fund for emerging as the two winning teams. They will receive up to $28,000 worth of technical support to build their prototypes as they proceed to the Product Development phase.

There is still so much more to learn with the Boost with Facebook sessions. Boost with Facebook is here to equip you with the digital skills needed to drive your business online using Facebook, Instagram and Whatsapp. This week, we will be hosting sessions on Ad Manager and how to Make Better Ads With Facebook Reporting.

If you are a Zambian female business owner with a tech-enabled business or you want to leverage technology to grow your business, we are looking for you! Apply for the SC Women In Tech programme and stand a chance to win $10,000. During the programme, you will receive legal, accounting and tech support, as well as mentorship for you and your business.
