Hello!

Can you believe how quickly the year has gone by? We only have one Hive Newsletter left to share for 2021! Here’s this weeks update:

Last week, our entrepreneurship team hosted 20 startups and MSME at AgCo Future Farm for the Level Up accelerator program, which we are running with Accelerated Growth for Small, Micro and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Zambia (AGS). During this weeklong bootcamp, the participants were coached on how to grow their leadership and entrepreneurial capacity, so that they can continue to build their tech-enabled businesses.

Also last week, we concluded the Future Challenges Innovation Initiative which we have been running with Demola and AGS. University students and corporates/startups from Zambia and Finland spent the last 6 weeks co-creating the solutions for future challenges in industries such as logistics and digital identities.

We have just over a month until applications for the SC Women in Tech incubator programme close. We held an information session online last Thursday with Standard Chartered Bank Zambia where we shared tips and pointers on the application process and requirements - the video is linked here, where we shared tips and pointers on the application process and requirements. Should you have any questions about the programme, do not hesitate to send us an email using the link provided here.

We're still hosting Boost with Facebook sessions - see below for what's on this week!

NB: The BongoHive Team will be on industrial break from Friday 24th November 2021 to Monday 10th January 2022.
