National Technology Business Centre (NTBC), BongoHive and WECREATE ZAMBIA bring you the BOOST UP events taking place in Zambia as a part of regional events in five countries in the SADC region powered by Southern Africa Innovation Support Programme and Connected Hubs.

Coaching Events
Set Up coaching events are for early-stage startups using technology to solve a societal problem and looking for skills that could help you articulate your ideas. You are warmly welcome to gain practical tools to help package your business idea and develop a pitch to attract your target market.

STAND UP:
Pitch Competition
Stand Up committed startups who are eager to make an impact will compete in a pitching competition in Lusaka. Changemaker startups with a scalable business idea and the eagerness to grow to become more investable are invited to apply. At the pitching competition, a panel of expert judges selects the top 2 who advance to the interview stage. One promising startup is selected to take part in the BOOST UP: Scale Up incubator.

SCALE UP
Incubator & Bootcamp
Scale Up is an online incubation programme for impact-driven startups from SADC region. It is designed to make early-stage startups to become more investable. The incubator includes an on-site Bootcamp programme in Helsinki, Finland (travel dates 13.-24.11.2019) wrapping up with one of the largest tech conferences in Europe, Slush 2019.
BOOST UP is a 3-part series of startup training events, supported by the Southern Africa Innovation Support Programme (SAIS 2), the SAIS 2 National Focal Points and the SAIS 2 Connected Hubs member organisations network in the five SADC countries of Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia.
The BOOST UP series comprises of Set up, Stand Up and Scale Up events which include coaching, pitch competitions and incubation of 5 startups representing each country taking part in Slush 2019 in Helsinki.
