Last Thursday at The Hive, we did more than talk about the future — we actively designed it. 🚀 Our “Shape Your Journey” event brought together a vibrant mix of familiar faces and first-time participants for an immersive listening lab focused on one simple but powerful goal: building with our community, not for it.

Moving away from assumptions, the session leaned into real-time, high-participation feedback using Mentimeter to map out our community’s evolving needs. From access to funding and mentorship to skills development and collaboration opportunities, the insights were captured live, creating a dynamic picture of what entrepreneurs actually need to grow and thrive.

Beyond the data, the room itself became a hub for meaningful peer-to-peer networking. Founders shared experiences, exchanged ideas, and connected across sectors, reinforcing the value of learning directly from one another. This hands-on, collaborative approach ensured that every voice in the room helped shape the direction of our work.

The insights gathered during the session are now informing the finalisation of our 2026 roadmap, anchored on four core pillars: Learn, Connect, Build, and Celebrate. This process marks an important step in our journey to evolve BongoHive into a truly member-supported network — one that is increasingly guided by Community Champions and driven by shared ownership.
