Are you a maker or know someone who is? The MakerHut community is seeking self-motivated interns interested in science, technology and engineering to work for a period of 8 weeks with at least 15 hours per week. During the internship, they will be able to explore technology related to interactive electronics, robotics, wearable technology and the internet of things. Creativity and knowledge of the global maker movement will be of benefit.
The program will run from the 31st August to the 16th October.
Please note this is an unpaid/educational internship
Responsibilities include:
– Minimum 15 hours of work per week
– Documenting weekly experiments with
– DIY technology on Instructables.com
– Planning and hosting electronics workshops
– Collaborating with international communities and makerspaces as well as local schools
Requirements:
– Must have an account on Instructables.com
– Demonstrate strong written communication skills and digital literacy
– Basic understanding of programming
Exit level outcome:
– Portfolio of weekly experiments
– Knowledge of DIY electronics
– Established relationships with other makerspaces
