Who Can Apply?

The Timbuktoo MineTech Hub invites applications from innovative, technology-driven startups that meet the following eligibility criteria:

Innovation Focus

Your startup must leverage innovative technologies such as data visualization, drone technology, or other cutting-edge solutions within the mining sector.

Market Focus

Startups must operate within Africa and strongly focus on addressing challenges in the mining industry.

Contribution to SDGs

 Your solution should contribute towards achieving one or more Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as promoting economic growth, industrialisation, sustainability, or inclusive development.

Scalability

Your startup should demonstrate market traction and the potential for scalable growth across multiple markets.

Product Readiness

Applicants should have a minimum viable product (MVP) with a clearly defined value proposition.

Strong Team

 Your team must showcase the capability, expertise, and commitment needed to drive innovation and growth within the mining sector.

African Nationals

The programme is open exclusively to startups founded and led by African nationals, ensuring locally driven solutions for the continent.
