Startup Weekend Lusaka 2014

Startup Weekend Lusaka

Startup Weekend is a 54 hour event that brings together Lusaka designers, developers, entrepreneurs, and experts from all domains to do amazing things.

All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback. This year’s event will be held at BongoHive on Friday 28th – Sunday 30th November 2014. View the full schedule here and read about last years’ event here.
