My name is Grace Chungu Muwawu, and I am the Impact Lead at BongoHive.
I describe myself as loyal and reliable. I am always the first person that my friends call on because they know I am always there for them. Night or day, I make sure to take care of the people in my life.
There are quite some interesting things about me that many people don’t know. Firstly as a child, I liked to catch frogs and tadpoles in a pond. Fast-forward to adulthood, one other interesting thing about me is that I am a deep sleeper and usually fall asleep in the living room but I mysteriously wake up in the bedroom and I keep wondering how I always get there.
Aside from that, I love listening to my favourite songs on repeat until I get bored. I also enjoy cooking: I love learning new recipes and cooking them for my spouse and son.
Travelling is another activity that I enjoy. It allows me to adapt to new situations and use my organisation and planning skills to ensure I have the most fun I can. I also enjoy the relaxation I get from working out.
Back to my work at BongoHive, I spend my days at work creating a series of quantitative and qualitative tools for startups to use in evaluating their businesses’ performance. I also collect and effectively store all data, analyse it and eventually present this information to the team in a clear and usable manner at regular intervals.
Proficiency in the computer is one of the skills that help me to carry out my tasks effectively. I am also self-motivated and I have a strong work ethic. All these skills combined have helped me to diligently carry out my role as the Impact Lead.
BongoHive is a busy but creative organisation where everyone on the team truly gets along and pitches in to get the job done, and this is my favourite aspect of working at BongoHive.
Working at BongoHive has brought me to the realisation that I am not just an employee but am part of a huge team, and we have a common goal.
