Show and Tell participants

The BongoHive AI Lab recently hosted the second edition of its AI Show & Tell series at BongoHive Coworking in Lusaka, bringing together innovators, developers, entrepreneurs, and AI enthusiasts to showcase emerging artificial intelligence solutions being built in Zambia.

The session featured live demonstrations of AI-powered tools addressing challenges across finance, healthcare, media, business intelligence, productivity, and local services. Presenters shared practical applications of AI designed to solve real-world problems while highlighting the growing innovation taking place within Zambia’s technology ecosystem.

Among the projects showcased were Lucid AI, an offline AI assistant designed for low-connectivity environments; FigureFlow, an AI-native financial intelligence platform automating finance operations; Crediflo Lite, a smart loan management solution for micro-lending agents; and Zed News, an AI-curated daily news digest focused on Zambia and the region.

Other demonstrations included the ASD Clinical Screening Console, an AI-powered tool supporting clinicians in Autism Spectrum Disorder screening, as well as projects such as Jirraffe AI, Idea Spring, and Argon Intelligence, which explored AI applications in productivity, innovation, and business intelligence.

The event highlighted the diversity of AI solutions being developed locally and provided a platform for builders to receive feedback, connect with peers, and inspire collaboration within Zambia’s growing AI community.

Through initiatives such as the AI Show & Tell, the BongoHive AI Lab continues to foster knowledge sharing, experimentation, and innovation, creating opportunities for developers and founders to showcase their work and contribute to the advancement of Zambia’s AI ecosystem.
