BongoHive is pleased to announce the Top 10 founders advancing to the Accelerator Phase of the Women in Tech Zambia Cohort 6 Programme, implemented in partnership with the Standard Chartered Foundation and Village Capital.
The announcement follows an intensive two-week Boot Camp that brought together 20 outstanding women entrepreneurs from across Zambia. During the Boot Camp, participants engaged in practical sessions focused on customer discovery, business model development, financial planning, and pitch preparation, equipping them with the skills and tools needed to strengthen and scale their businesses.
The programme culminated in an in-person Pitch Day, where founders presented their ventures before a panel of judges. Participants were assessed on business viability, customer validation, financial understanding, and pitch delivery in a highly competitive selection process.
Following the evaluations, the following founders have been selected to advance to the Accelerator Phase of the programme:
- Wanji Maluba – Quotify Services Limited
- Ellen Nachoombe – Elsati Connect Limited
- Adele Makayi – Yellow Ray Digital
- Kasongo Nyakaula – Pluntum Enterprise
- Chifula Nambela – Techroots IT Solutions Ltd
- Samukhele Mwase – Cowrie Technology Solutions
- Inota Cheta – She Entrepreneur Ltd
- Chikombo Chilufya – Likumi Financial Services
- Nakubiana Mufaya – Naje Health Limited
- Thokozani Nangwale – Crystal Vision Innovation Ltd
Over the next 12 weeks, the selected founders will participate in an intensive accelerator programme designed to strengthen their investment readiness. Through mentorship, coaching, peer learning, and expert-led sessions, participants will gain deeper insights into growth strategy, financial management, technology adoption, impact measurement, and fundraising.
The accelerator will culminate in a Demo Day scheduled for September 2026, where participants will showcase their progress and compete for up to US$10,000 in equity-free funding to accelerate the growth and impact of their ventures.
The Women in Tech Zambia Programme is committed to supporting women-led businesses with the resources, networks, and opportunities they need to thrive in Zambia’s innovation ecosystem. By fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among women founders, the programme continues to contribute to inclusive economic growth and sustainable development.
BongoHive congratulates all 20 founders who participated in this year’s Boot Camp and commends them for their dedication, resilience, and entrepreneurial spirit. We look forward to supporting the Top 10 founders as they continue building innovative, scalable, and impactful businesses that address real-world challenges and create lasting value.
