BongoHive was honored to participate in and exhibit at the Zambia–Ghana Business Forum held on 6th February, 2026, at the Intercontinental Hotel. Organized by the Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) on the sidelines of the State Visit by the President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, and hosted by His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema, the forum served as a strategic platform to deepen bilateral economic cooperation. We were particularly inspired by President Hichilema’s address, which emphasized that in the digital age, technology eliminates traditional barriers of distance and that digital platforms must be leveraged to strengthen trade and innovation. For BongoHive, the event was a vibrant space for high-level interaction, where we were excited to connect with fellow tech hubs and innovators to exchange notes on scaling solutions within the African ecosystem.
We welcomed the opportunity to forge possible collaborations and partnerships aimed at conquering the African market alongside our Ghanaian counterparts, moving toward tangible joint ventures in sectors like Fintech and Trade. By showcasing Zambian innovation during the exhibition, we demonstrated how local startups are ready to drive value addition and industrial growth. As the Presidents noted, African businesses must remain “awake” to the continent’s opportunities; BongoHive is proud to be part of this movement, building the economic bridges necessary for shared African prosperity.
