Lusaka Google Technology User Group (GTUG), in association with BongoHive, presents the Google I/O Meetup. The meetup will kick off with a brief introduction about Google I/O, followed by video sessions where attendees will watch some selected videos from Google I/O 2012.
Google I/O is an annual developer-focused conference held by Google in San Francisco, California. Google I/O features highly technical, in-depth sessions focused on building web, mobile, and enterprise applications with Google and open web technologies such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, and more. Google I/O was started in 2008. The “I” and “O” stand for input/output, and “Innovation in the Open”*.
Google I/O 2012 ran from June 27 to June 29 2012 (3 days) and brought together thousands of developers.
The event is FREE and attendees will be given Google I/O T-Shirts and DVDs of the selected Google I/O Sessions.
