As we approach the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. UNICEF has declared 2014 as the Year of Innovation for Children. UNICEF Zambia is hosting an Activate Talk under the theme “CRC@25: Innovating for Zambia’s Children” on August 11, 2014 at 14.30hrs. The talk is part of a series of events around the world which has brought and continues to bring together change makers from all walks of life to rethink and rework how we can deliver results for the most vulnerable and marginalized children.
The talks will take place throughout 2014, and will be live-streamed or broadcast on the innovation web portal. The Zambia Activate Talk will be co-hosted by BongoHive, UNICEF Zambia’s Innovation Lab partners. The Talk will be hosted at the Mulungushi Conference Centre on 11 August, 2014 from 14.30hrs to 17.00hrs and thereafter a networking event / cocktail from 17.00hrs to 18.00hrs.
