We would like to recognize and express our gratitude to our clients whom we have had the pleasure of working with over the past year, 2022.
In the past year, we have had the chance to collaborate with a wide variety of businesses, each of which has had its own set of unique goals and objectives to achieve.
We are especially pleased to have collaborated on the creation and development of a web exchange platform with the National HIV/AIDS/STI/TB Council of Zambia (NAC), the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ), and Syspons GmbH to assist Provincial AIDS Coordination Advisors (PACAs) and District AIDS Coordination Advisors (DACAs) throughout Zambia in communicating more effectively with the NAC national office team and among themselves.
We would also like to highlight the Hackers in Residence Coding Academy, which we carried out in partnership with Double GDP, Dufuna, and Nkwashi. These organizations’ dedication to excellence and attention to detail is demonstrated in the successful project we carried out together in the implementation of remote coding training for students residing at Nkwashi in Lusaka. During the project, we carried out hackathons, offered training support and promoted it within its community.
We also value the partnership and trust we have maintained with the powerhouses in the banking sector Stanbic Bank, Zambia National Commercial Bank (Zanaco) and ABSA Bank with whom we have run various innovation-driven activities. Additionally, we would like to thank the MTN Foundation, CARE International, Accelerating the Impact of CGIAR Climate Research for Africa (AICCRA), Planned Parenthood Association of Zambia (PPAZ), and The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) for their partnership and desire to further the cause of innovation and create fresh concepts that address difficulties in providing user-centric services.
We would also like to express our gratitude to Conservation Farming Unit, Good Nature Agro, Prospero, Southern Cross, CARE, AIICRA, Abacus 360, and FIntech Challenge for their ongoing support and collaboration over the years.
As 2023 unfolds, we look forward to more collaborations that empower entrepreneurs through coaching and increased access to finance, Standard Chartered Bank has been such a partner.
Over the past two years, we are proud to have led the implementation of the Standard Chartered Women in Tech (SC_WiT) Programme in Zambia, an initiative of the bank to support women-led businesses that receive little to no support and are underfunded.
We would like to thank the bank for their continued trust in us to support 90 women through the SC_WiT boot camp training, incubation, and accelerator program. To date, the top 5 candidates from the past two cohorts have received $100,000.00, collectively. We are delighted to work with a partner that is determined to empower early-stage startups with the much-needed capital to grow their businesses and thrive.
