In a groundbreaking collaboration, TEDxLusaka and BongoHive, have come together to shed light on the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) across key sectors in the country.

From July to August 2024, the two organisations facilitated a series of impactful AI community workshops, engaging participants from five critical sectors: agriculture, business, health, education, and law and governance. The goal was to demystify AI, address potential risks, and explore the challenges associated with its implementation, while simultaneously gathering valuable stakeholder recommendations to inform future practices.

The workshops culminated in a highly anticipated webinar on August 30th, 2024, which was attended by stakeholders and the broader Zambian public. The session featured a detailed presentation of the summary report, encapsulating the key learnings and observations from the various sector-specific workshops.

During the webinar, participants engaged in an interactive jam board activity, providing real-time feedback on the report.
